Pregnancy Testing
Pregnancy testing is offered to teens and single women of Hardin County
in the Greenbelt Home Care office. Information on Sexually Transmitted
Diseases (STD), risky behaviors and pregnancy prevention are provided to the
young women at the time of the testing. If pregnancy is confirmed, by the
test, the appropriate steps for assuring good prenatal care are initiated.
The cost of the test and the education is paid for through the Adolescent
Pregnancy Prevention Grant. There is no charge to the young women.
